Everyone, Happy Easter!
Well, pageant season is in full force!
On Saturday, April 24th, promoter Trent
Thomas had Miss Gay
Arkansas Newcomer at Kinkead’s in Fort Smith, AR. There were
five wonderful contestants - KoKo Devorie, Kandi Anderson,
Emerahl Montoya, Makayla Blake and McKensie Gold. Your Miss
Gay Arkansas Newcomer 2010 is Kandi Anderson, 1st alternate
is Emerahl Montoya, and 2nd alternate is Makayla Blake. It was
such a wonderful pageant and ran so smoothly. It was a honor
to work with the talents of Miss Gay America 2004 Rachael Erikks,
Miss Gay Tri-States America 2008 Shawn Tyler Andrews, Miss Gay
Little Rock Arkansas America 2010 Morgan McCall, Miss Gay Diamond
Arkansas America 2010 Sasha Harrison, Miss Gay Little Rock Arkansas
America 2004 Jazmyn Turrelle, Ay-Shia LaRue and Barbie Grant.
Special thanks to Kinkead’s owner Rick Eubanks and the Kinkead’s
staff for showing us such a
great time, and for welcoming the Miss Gay Arkansas Pageant in to your club.
Thank you to Erica Page for helping to MC and also Tabulating the scores.
A big thank you goes out to Trent Thomas
for really rolling out the red carpet for me. The next day
he treated me to Furr’s Fresh Buffet for lunch, then it was on to Fayetteville,
where that night he
treated me to dinner and he and Shawn opened their home to me where I was
able to get a nap
before going to visit some of my dear friends Kitty and Sybil.
Next was Miss Gay Hot springs America
2010 at Jester’s in Hot Springs, held Saturday May 8th
with promoter Johnny Nunley. It was so good to be able to see so many good
friends in Hot
Springs. After registration, rehearsal and male interview, Tish Lanae, Missy
Klein, Dusty Deville,
Shanel Herrington, Christie Lynn, Mya Alexander and Myself all had a late
lunch at Ryan’s Buffet.
Mya Alexander had a Grand give up at
Miss Gay Hot Springs. It was a pleasure to perform with
so many great entertainers such as Nancy Dupree, Tish Lanae, Heaven Lee, Shanel
Herrington,
Stephanie Richards and Mya Alexander. It was a great pageant with the New
Miss Gay Hot Springs
going to Raven Cassadine and 1st alternate went to Indonesia Cassadine.
I want to send a big thank you out to Johnny Nunley for his hospitality and friendship.
Thank you to Spencer May and Dennis Harris
for helping me dress and making sure I looked my
best. Stephanie Richards for your help as always with the Judges books and
Megan for opening up
your closet to me. Missy Klein thanks for the beautiful eye makeup.

next one is June 5th at Kinkead’s in Fort Smith, and is the Miss Gay
Fort Smith Arkansas America

In closing, I want to congratulate all
