Hello
Everyone,
I am back from the Miss Gay America Pageant in St. Louis, and I had
a wonderful time. I want to congratulate Zia D'Yor, first alternate to
Miss Gay Arkansas 2009, who also competed at MGA. I had the
opportunity to see many old friends and to make many new ones.
I would like to thank my friends who supported and helped me while
at MGA. My dresser and drag daughter, Seth Francis/Brooklyn Bisette.
My make-up artist and dancer, James Thweatt. My dancers....Dorothy,
Shan and Danette. My friend and Miss Gay Arkansas sister, Kamrin
Mikaels....thank you for your support, friendship and all of the wake
up calls! I love you girl!
In the end, Alyssa Edwards was crowned the new Miss Gay America.
Congratulations to Alyssa and all of the other contestants that I had
the opportunity to compete with. Alyssa will be a wonderful Miss Gay
America, and we look forward to having her in Little Rock for Miss
Gay Arkansas 2010 next August.
I also want to congratulate my friend Victoria DePaula on a wonderful reign
as Miss Gay America.
As a former MGA, she will be very active in the system for years to come.
I am glad to be back in my home state
representing Arkansas as your Symbol of Excellence, and
I am looking forward to a wonderful pageant season in 2010.
All my love,
Christina Saxton
