"Heyyy LeMay" here... Calling All Competitors: Come One, Come All!

It's finally here--competition season is less than a month away. A "New Chapter" of Arkansas Pageantry is being rewritten with Jordan Bolton, New MGAR Promoter at the helm. We both are a team of firsts, it is my honor as the first Miss Arkansas under his leadership, to be a part of this pivotal transition into the future of the pageant. Moving forward, our shared goal is to ensure our representatives statewide have the resources to best compete in preparation for nationals. We are offering several new incentives for promoters and contestants in the planning for MGAR 2025.

Theme: "A Night at Carnaval De Coppa Cabana" based on the festival in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Some often refer to me as "Copa" rather than my actual name "Coppa," so I decided to have a bit of fun by including my name in the title through a play on words. The excitement is building as we are planning for a "Spectacular Opening Production" with lots of vibrant colors and, of course, feathers, etc...!

Lights, Camera, Action! There will be a cash prize for the best contestant costume. We encourage all participants to bring their winning presentation.

The calendar kicks-Off with the Miss Gay Southern Arkansas Pageant Saturday, March 22nd. This month's spotlight is focused on one of our newest promoters, Charnay Maletti Cassadine, Forever MGAR 2016. She is no stranger to pageantry as she has competed, judged and supported the artform of female impersonation across the country. Her passion to see the legacy of MGAR continue to thrive encouraged the move into promotership. Please let us support all of our promoters as they have entered into committed partnership to preserve the MGAR Organization!

Personally, I'm almost halfway into my reign. As the journey towards my stepdown in September continues, I intend to enjoy every moment of this amazing ride. I'm looking forward to celebrating the 40th Anniversary of when I began this amazing art form in 1985. But most of all, I look forward celebrating and encouraging our contestants, promoters and sponsors in reaching their goals and dreams. That is my job as your reigning queen, but when you have your "Dream Job" you'll never work a day in your life. Let's make this year's pageant season a fun one!

Love y'all...Yours Truly,

Coppa LeMay
